The 13-acre multi-functional campus includes much-needed facility service space and outdoor storage. The site is located in the southwest quadrant of the interchange of E-470 and Stephen D. Hogan Parkway in Aurora. The primary functions include snowplow and truck maintenance, vehicle storage, maintenance materials and equipment, salt barn, administration offices, touchdown work stations, conference/training rooms, two 5,000 gas fuel tanks, and three electrical vehicle charging stations. The design team took special considerations in being a good neighbor to the surrounding community, creating an attractive visual screening of the operations along the multi-sided and heavily used trails in the area.
