D2C is working closely with Summit County to design their new Transit Headquarters, delivering site, building, and plaza design on an existing and operational campus. Services include structural engineering, electrical design including battery electric charging assessment for fleet resiliency, roadway, and site civil design. Our team is developing revised programming as well as new design and phasing plans to assist the transit agency for the conversion to a 100% electric bus fleet and will accommodate over 50 battery electric buses (BEBs). The facility includes office space for administration, operations, supervisors, management, housing for employees, space for a bus stop maintenance crew and related parks/rec style equipment, space for a bus wash/detail crew, vehicle fluid storage, and heated parking for the transit fleet.
